Jayson was born in Manila, Philippines. He learned English when the family moved to Sydney, Australia for a few years. He then immigrated with his family to the USA in the early 1980’s and spent his childhood and teenage years in Pinellas Park, Florida. After high school, much to the chagrin of his parents, he decided to forgo his family’s business of Assisted Living Facilities to pursue a career in fashion design. He is a proud F.I.T Fashion Design alumni. He lived in NYC for 20+ years and worked in the apparel industry. He has worked for many successful menswear brands and can still put together a cargo short tech packs in his dreams. He still loves fashion and admires designers like Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld, Rick Owens, Anne Demeulemeester, Helmut Lang, Iris Van Herpen, and Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli to name a smattering. He is an epic nerd for X-men comics and table top role playing games like Dungeons & Dragons & Pathfinder. He also misses wearing black, cozy sweaters, and cool boots very much since moving to Florida.

Serendipity brought them together at a random bar in New York City while Reymond was on vacation . After a few years together, they decided to start a new chapter in life by selling Jayson’s beloved NYC-Astoria apartment and purchasing a home in Historic Kenwood in November 2016. They are both so very thankful for all the love, support, and sacrifices made by both their family and friends. Reymond and Jayson have worked nonstop for almost 3 years in pursuing their dreams and goals of becoming innkeepers. Unfortunately, timing wasn't very auspicious, and they opened the B&B four months before the pandemic shut down Florida in the middle of March 2020. Now, along with their concierge puppers, Kona Bean & Fizzgig, they are so excited to say, "Welcome Home" to all their guests.
